You are at the internet home of Lorenzo de Zavala Lodge No.1397, AF&AM. We were the first predominately Hispanic lodge chartered in the Houston area and are proud to be in our 49th year of making good men better.
We meet on Mondays and Thursdays. Our stated meetings are held the second Monday of each month. Ladies are always invited to have dinner with the members. We share a cover dish supper with our ladies, and afterwards our members go into the lodge room and have a brief business meeting while the ladies gather in the dining room and chat. Visiting Brethren from other Masonic lodges are always welcome and encouraged to come and sit in lodge with us! Freemasonry's statement is "Making Good Men Better", and the Officers and Brethren of Lorenzo de Zavala Lodge No. 1397 have been upholding that adage since 1962. For the past 49 years, Lorenzo de Zavala has been a Houston Tradition, and more than 100 Houstonians call Lorenzo de Zavala Lodge No. 1397, "My Lodge". Lorenzo de Zavala Lodge is committed to supporting the community through charitable contributions. Throughout the year, Lorenzo de Zavala Lodge holds differing fund raisers in hopes that more monies can be raised every year to be distributed within the Greater Houston area. Enthusiasm and camaraderie among the brethren is at an all time high. The contribution of the ladies has made a great difference. We have a number of young men who are anxious for more light and show a desire to take part in all lodge activities. Come by and see!!!!
